How
is LazyLawn Turf different from other synthetic turf?
Our
turf fibers have been manufactured to resemble real grass." Our turf fibers
have been bent and spring-set to help prevent "matting" over time. The
fiber component consists of UV protected "polyethylene," which is the
softest fiber component in the industry. LazyLawn turf only requires a small
amount of sand infill to stabilize the root of the fiber and weight down the
turf.
How
does the LazyLawn Turf hold up in an outdoor environment?
Our
turf is assembled using the finest UV treated polyethylene, water resistant
fibers. Our LazyLawn turf carries a 5 year limited warranty against excessive
wear and fading and resists normal rain, snow, wind, freeze and sun. With
customer care and the application of our annual UV spray treatment, your
LazyLawn turf could last well over 10 years. Our synthetic turf has been
installed in the cold climates of Canada and the hot deserts of Arizona and Las
Vegas.
Is
the Mirage LazyLawn Turf maintenance free?
When
was the last time you owned something that was totally "maintenance
free?" Our LazyLawn Turf is "hassle-free." LazyLawn Turf is as
maintenance free as it gets. Once installed, just keep the leaves, debris and
doggie-do-do off the surface, just like you would with your real grass lawn.
Why
shouldn't you install a real grass?
Real
grass lawns require expensive irrigation and weekly maintenance, such as:
mowing, watering, fertilizing, thatching, weeding, edging, chemical pesticides,
and winter over-seeding.
Can
LazyLawn Turf be sculptured around walkways, pools, plants or trees?
Yes,
just like read sod grass.
What
size or shape can the LazyLawn be constructed?
With
professional installation, just about any size or shape can be constructed.
Can
you walk on the LazyLawn Turf?
Yes,
our special shock absorbing backing, coupled with the spring action memory
designed fiber, makes our LazyLawn surface as resilient as real grass.
Is
the LazyLawn Turf the same style synthetic turf that you see installed on
patios, as indoor/outdoor carpet?
No,
absolutely not. Indoor/outdoor turf is usually installed as a glue down on a
cement pad and their fibers are short and not very dense. This style of turf
grass does not look very realistic, it is very shinny and does not last very
long in hostile climates.
Can
your kids play on the LazyLawn Turf?
We
have three different models of LazyLawn. Two of the models are made for cosmetic
turf and the other one is made for a play area.
What
if weeds would grow up through the LazyLawn Turf?
Under
normal conditions, it would be hard for weeds to grow up through the special
turf backing. But if any weeds would grow through, you can give them a spray
with "Round-Up" weed control.
Can
anyone install the LazyLawn Turf System?
No,
only certified and trained Dealers can install the LazyLawn Turf System.
